Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova (born in Russian) is an American-born professional tennis player and TV show host. She became a tennis star due to her looks and fame. Anna Kournikova was a Russian tennis player, who at one point was the most prominent female athlete in the sport. Kournikova's performance as a doubles tennis player was widely praised. She became famous around the globe for her attractive fashion and modelling work. Kournikova played singles as a modern baseliner, playing the ball at a high agility and speed around the court. The basis of her game was a strong return and deep groundstrokes and she also approached the net every time she had the chance.
